Amit Misra, CEO of Dazeinfo, shared an ad for a momo helper position offering ₹3 lakh per annum, pointing out the disparity in salaries. This comparison has sparked a discussion about low entry-level salaries in the IT sector and the struggle for fresh graduates to make ends meet.
The criticism comes at a time when Cognizant is already facing backlash for offering low compensation to fresh engineering graduates.
