Interested companies can apply between July 15 and October 12, with existing participants also eligible to invest more or switch to different product categories.
So far, 66 companies have committed investments worth Rs 6,962 crore under this scheme, including major players like Daikin, Voltas, and LG. These investments are expected to boost the production of AC and LED light parts in India, creating jobs and driving growth. The scheme is part of the ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ initiative, which aims to make India self-reliant and promote indigenous manufacturing.
