Tata Motors has announced revised range certifications for its electric vehicle lineup, including the Curvv EV, Nexon EV, Punch EV, and Tiago EV. The revised ranges are based on updated guidelines from the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, which require testing for both urban and extra-urban driving conditions.
The new guidelines aim to provide a more realistic assessment of EV range, and Tata Motors has also introduced a “C75” range figure to give customers a better understanding of the near real-world driving range they can expect. The C75 range is based on the company’s analysis of over 165,000 electric cars sold to date.
The revised range figures for Tata Motors’ EVs are as follows:
  • Curvv EV: 502 km (MIDC range), 400-425 km (C75 range)
  • Nexon EV: 390 km (MIDC range)
  • Punch EV: 365 km (MIDC range)
  • Tiago EV: 275 km (MIDC range)
