Swiggy, in collaboration with the makers of Singham Again, has achieved a Guinness World Record for the largest vada pav delivery in a single order. The food delivery platform delivered 11,000 vada pavs to children from schools supported by the Robin Hood Army.
The record-breaking delivery was facilitated by Swiggy’s newly launched XL Fleet, a fleet of electric vehicles designed for bulk deliveries. The vada pavs were provided by Mumbai vendor MM Mithaiwala and distributed across several locations in the city.
Swiggy Co-founder Phani Kishan, along with Singham Again stars Ajay Devgn and director Rohit Shetty, marked the record-breaking delivery at Airport High School & Junior College in Vile Parle. The initiative aimed to bring food to children and celebrate Mumbai’s iconic street food.
The use of electric vehicles for the delivery highlights Swiggy’s commitment to sustainability.
