Delhi Metro commuters can now recharge their metro cards using WhatsApp! This new service, powered by PeLocal, aims to simplify the process for travelers in Delhi and NCR. The chatbot is available for both iOS and Android users.
To recharge, simply text “Hi” to +91 96508 55800 or scan the QR code. Choose your language, select “Smart Card TopUp”, and enter your card number and recharge amount. Pay using your preferred method, including UPI, debit, or credit cards.
This service also allows users to buy tokens, check train schedules, fares, and station information. With a minimum recharge amount of Rs 100, users will be charged varying payment fees, except for UPI transactions which are free.
