The campaign features a film starring Ayushmann Khurrana as a vigilant wedding guest who uses humor and quick thinking to save others from falling victim to scams. The film highlights practical safety features available on Meta platforms, such as two-factor authentication and group privacy settings.
Meta’s safety campaign aligns with government efforts, supported by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), the Indian Cybercrime Coordination Centre (I4C), and the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB). The company has invested significantly in safety, with over 40,000 employees working on security initiatives.
By launching this campaign, Meta aims to empower users to protect themselves from common scams, including OTP scams, impersonation scams, and trading and investment scams. With its safety tools and education initiatives, Meta is committed to keeping users informed and secure online.
