IndiGo Airlines has teamed up with music streaming giant Spotify to introduce “6E Shuffle,” a unique feature that provides personalized playlists for travelers. This innovative partnership combines music and travel to make journeys more enjoyable.
With 6E Shuffle, passengers can access playlists curated specifically for popular travel routes and destinations. To access these playlists, travelers can visit IndiGo’s dedicated microsite, which directs them to Spotify for seamless listening. Additionally, customers who book directly with IndiGo will receive a complimentary four-month subscription to Spotify Premium, allowing them to listen ad-free and offline.
The partnership is a response to the growing demand for travel-related playlists in India, particularly among younger audiences. According to Spotify, users search for travel-themed keywords like “road trip” and “driving” over 22 lakh times each month. By tapping into this trend, IndiGo and Spotify aim to provide travelers with a memorable experience.
To promote 6E Shuffle, IndiGo and Spotify have collaborated with I-Pop artist Armaan Malik for a video campaign. The campaign, themed “tune in and take off,” highlights music’s role in enhancing travel experiences.
