Kavin Karthik, an engineer who rose to prominence after landing a Rs 92 lakh package from Google in 2013 as an IIT-Madras graduate, has made a significant career move to OpenAI. Karthik, who spent more than ten years at Google working on projects like Google Lens, Commerce, and Search, will now assume the role of Member of the Technical Staff at OpenAI.
In a recent announcement on LinkedIn and Twitter, Karthik expressed his enthusiasm for joining OpenAI and harnessing the transformative potential of AI, particularly with ChatGPT.
