Samsung India has rolled out a new initiative to address the green screen problem affecting some of its flagship smartphones. The company announced a one-time free screen replacement program for select models, including the Galaxy S20 series, S21 series (excluding FE model), S22 Ultra, Note 20, and Note 20 Ultra.
Owners experiencing green screen issues on these devices have until April 30th to book appointments with Samsung India Service Centers for a complimentary screen replacement. Additionally, Samsung will also provide free battery replacements for affected devices.
It’s noteworthy that eligible smartphones must be within 3 years of their purchase date to qualify for this program. Even if the device’s warranty has expired, Samsung will cover the costs of repair. However, it’s yet to be confirmed whether this initiative will extend to other regions beyond India.
