  • Zuckerberg hinted at growing a mullet and referenced his past July 4th celebrations, which also went viral.

Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, celebrated July 4th in a way that only he could. He posted a video on Facebook and Instagram showing him on a hydrofoil, dressed in a tuxedo, holding a beer in one hand and the American flag in the other. The video, set to Bruce Springsteen’s “Born in the USA,” quickly went viral.
Zuckerberg’s celebration was markedly different from his past July 4th celebrations, which also went viral. In 2020, he was seen with a thick layer of sunscreen on his face, and in 2021, he surfed to the soundtrack of John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads.” This year’s celebration showed Zuckerberg’s recovery from knee surgery, which he underwent six months ago.
The video also showed Zuckerberg’s playful side, with him hinting at growing a mullet and referencing his past celebrations. His recovery from knee surgery seems to be going well, and he was seen enjoying himself on the hydrofoil without damaging his Meta Ray-Ban glasses.
