With the latest iOS 18.1 update, iPhone users can now record phone calls directly from their device. This feature, long available on Android phones, allows users to capture important conversations and interviews.
To record calls on your iPhone:
Update to iOS 18.1 or later.
Enable Call Recording in Settings > Apps > Phone.
Make or answer a call, then tap the waveform icon to start recording.
An automated voice will announce the recording.

Recordings are automatically saved to the Notes app, where you can:
