Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has unveiled exciting details about its upcoming Activa Electric scooter, scheduled to launch on November 27, 2024. The new model will feature dual swappable battery packs, making charging quick and easy for city riders. These batteries can be replaced at special swapping stations, reducing downtime and improving convenience.
The Activa Electric is expected to offer two variants. The base model will include a basic TFT display, while the premium version will feature a colourful, advanced display showing battery status, range, speed, and riding mode. Both models will come with LED lighting, enhancing style and safety.
Reports suggest a range of about 104 kilometres in standard mode, with a sport mode for more power. The powertrain is expected to feature a swingarm-mounted motor for better balance and handling. The premium variant may also include navigation and music controls.
