  • Uber One offers ride discounts, priority support, and free Zomato Gold membership for frequent users.
  • Plans start at ₹149/month, with annual subscribers getting the most benefits.
  • New safety features and gig worker support enhance Uber’s market position.

Uber has introduced its Uber One subscription service in India, targeting loyal riders with exclusive perks. The plan replaces the old Rider Pass feature and offers discounts on rides, Uber Credits (up to ₹150 per trip), priority customer support, and a free three-month Zomato Gold membership for dining and delivery discounts.

Subscribers can choose between three plans: ₹149/month, ₹349 for three months, or ₹1,499 annually. While annual subscribers can cancel anytime, doing so forfeits unused credits and benefits. Uber aims to attract frequent riders and compete in India’s growing ride-hailing market by offering more value and convenience.

Alongside Uber One, the company introduced safety updates like SOS emergency integration, a helmet selfie feature for pillion riders, and women driver preferences. These steps, along with Uber’s support for India’s e-Shram portal for gig workers, highlight its focus on safety and worker welfare.
