Parker Conrad, founder of Rippling, recently spoke with TechCrunch’s Found about his company’s journey and the lessons he’s learned along the way. Despite Rippling’s success, Conrad says his company hasn’t won yet, and he’s focused on continuing to innovate and improve.
Conrad also defended Rippling’s business model, which offers an all-in-one workforce management platform. He believes this approach is the future of business software, as it eliminates the need for multiple software solutions and increases efficiency. Conrad also shared his thoughts on the AI bubble, saying many companies are “AI washing” themselves without truly understanding the technology.
Additionally, Conrad spoke about his public spat with former investor David Sacks, who helped push him out of his previous company, Zenefits. Conrad said he spoke up for himself because he had nothing to lose and wanted to show other founders that they don’t have to be afraid to stand up for themselves.
