Honda has introduced its first electric scooters in India—the Activa E and QC1—targeting urban commuters. The Activa E features swappable batteries and advanced tech for convenience, while the QC1 is designed as a budget-friendly, short-distance commuter with a fixed battery. Both scooters are set to go on sale in Bengaluru, Delhi-NCR, and Mumbai by spring 2025.
The Activa E boasts a 102 km range, a wheel-side motor with a maximum output of 6.0 kW, and three ride modes: STANDARD, SPORT, and ECON. Its futuristic design includes LED lighting and Bluetooth-enabled Honda RoadSync Duo for navigation and calls. The QC1, on the other hand, is a lightweight moped with a 1.5 kWh battery, 1.8 kW motor, a 5-inch LCD panel, and practical storage features, ideal for short trips.
To support Activa E users, Honda has launched the e:Swap battery-sharing service in Bengaluru and Delhi-NCR, expanding to Mumbai by 2025. This initiative aims to address charging infrastructure challenges, ensuring quick battery replacements for uninterrupted rides.
