Goenka had earlier stepped down as Managing Director to concentrate on his responsibilities as CEO, aligning with Zee’s leadership restructuring plans. His non-reappointment marks a significant development in the company’s efforts to revamp its operations and governance.
Additionally, Zee shareholders approved a dividend of Re 1 per equity share for the financial year ending March 31, 2024.
