This digital foundation will enable better outcomes for farmers by using data and digital services.
The survey notes that Agri Stack has been fairly well developed in major states and can provide a tool for better targeting of fertiliser subsidies. The system opens opportunities for startups to build stronger use-cases, leveraging emerging technologies like AI, blockchain, and drones. The Krishi Decision Support System (Krishi-DSS) aims to integrate and store relevant data, further supporting digital agriculture in India.
