Intel has unveiled its latest Lunar Lake mobile processors, designed to improve efficiency and enhance AI features for mobile devices. These new chips aim to tackle growing competition from Arm processors and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon series, particularly in the high-performance laptop market.

Lunar Lake processors feature a mix of four ‘Lion Cove’ P-cores and four ‘Skymont’ E-cores, optimized for power efficiency. Unlike previous designs, these processors do not use Hyperthreading, which reduces power consumption and enhances performance in laptops. The new Xe2 integrated graphics offer a significant performance boost, and the on-board NPU supports advanced AI capabilities, making these processors a strong contender in the market.
