BluSmart, the e-mobility ride-hailing service, has announced the expansion of its EV charging network to include the public and fleet operators in Delhi-NCR and Bengaluru. This move is part of BluSmart’s effort to boost electric vehicle adoption across India by providing accessible and reliable charging solutions.
To support this initiative, BluSmart has launched the BluSmart Charge App, available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. This app helps users find suitable chargers, provides real-time updates on availability, and integrates the payment process for both fleet operators and individual EV users.
Currently, BluSmart operates 50 EV charging hubs with over 5,000 fast and slow charging stations. These stations are strategically located in prime areas such as malls, corporate parks, and metro stations, ensuring minimal car queuing and high capacity utilization. Tushar Garg, Co-Founder and CEO of BluSmart Charge, emphasized that this expansion is crucial for supporting India’s transition to e-mobility.
With the largest EV fleet in South Asia and over 14.9 million emission-free trips completed, BluSmart’s expanded charging network and new app are significant steps towards building long-term solutions for electric mobility in India’s major cities.
