Under the policy, posting anti-national content can result in severe consequences, including imprisonment ranging from three years to life. Additionally, disseminating obscene or defamatory material online can lead to criminal defamation charges.
The policy also outlines payment limits for influencers and social media operators, with maximum monthly payments set for various platforms. The government has established a digital agency, V-Form, to handle advertisements and showcase online content.
