Tata Motors is expanding its electric vehicle lineup with the launch of the Tata Curvv EV, a mid-size SUV. This launch is significant as it marks Tata’s entry into the more premium segment, positioned above the popular Nexon EV. The Curvv EV will compete in a segment currently dominated by ICE vehicles, with no electric mid-size SUVs available yet.
The launch event will be live-streamed on Tata’s official YouTube channel at 11:30 AM, allowing viewers to witness the unveiling of the Curvv EV. Tata Motors currently offers the most extensive range of electric vehicles in India, including the Punch EV, Tiago EV, and Tigor EV. The Curvv EV will further strengthen Tata’s position in the Indian EV market.
The Curvv EV’s pricing is expected to be lower than its competitors, making it an attractive option for those looking for an electric mid-size SUV. However, Hyundai is reportedly working on an electric version of the Creta, which would become a direct rival for the Curvv.
