Swiggy Instamart has appointed Amitesh Jha as its new CEO, effective September 4, 2024. Jha joins from Flipkart, where he spent 14 years scaling key categories and overseeing logistics. His expertise is expected to strengthen Swiggy Instamart’s position in quick commerce.
Jha’s appointment is seen as a strategic move to drive growth and innovation. Phani Kishan, current CEO, will transition to a broader role, focusing on Swiggy’s Central Growth unit. Sriharsha Majety, Swiggy Group CEO, expressed enthusiasm about Jha’s appointment, citing his remarkable track record at Flipkart.
