Reliance Jio, India’s leading telecom provider, experienced a significant outage on [date], disrupting services for thousands of users. According to Downdetector, an outage tracking platform, over 10,000 reports were registered at the peak of the outage, which began around 11 AM.
The outage primarily affected users in major cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Nashik, Kolkata, Patna, and Guwahati. Many users took to social media to report the issue, highlighting the inconvenience caused.
The outage impacted both mobile phone users and those using Jio AirFiber services. Users who rely on both services were severely affected. However, by 3:20 pm, the number of reported issues had significantly decreased, with Downdetector registering around 1,500 instances.
