Radico Khaitan, the maker of popular vodka brand ‘Magic Moments’, has reported a significant increase in its Q2 profit, driven by growing demand for premium alcohol. The company’s net profit jumped by 32.8% to Rs 82.2 crore in the July-September quarter, compared to Rs 61.9 crore in the same period last year. This growth was largely driven by the increasing demand for its premium alcohol brands, with the Prestige & Above category volume growing by 12.6% in Q2FY25.
The company’s net revenue from operations also increased by 20.7% to Rs 1,116.3 crore in Q2FY25, compared to Rs 925 crore in the same period last year. The contribution of Prestige & Above brands to the IMFL volumes stood at 53.2% in Q2FY25, up from 47.1% in Q2FY24. Radico Khaitan’s Chairman and Managing Director, Lalit Khaitan, expressed optimism about the growth opportunities in the Indian alcobev sector and confidence in the company’s strategic roadmap.
Radico Khaitan’s shares have also been performing well, hitting a 52-week high of Rs 2,375 on an intraday basis on October 24. The stock has been on a consecutive gain for the past two days, reflecting the company’s strong operational performance and growth prospects.
