Ola Electric has unveiled its much-awaited Roadster Series motorcycles, consisting of three variants: Roadster X, Roadster, and Roadster Pro. The series promises to accelerate EV adoption in India’s 2W market, which currently consists of mostly motorcycles. The Roadster X is an entry-level segment motorcycle with a peak motor output of 11 kW, while the Roadster and Roadster Pro offer more advanced features and higher performance.
The Roadster Pro is the most impressive variant, with a motor output of 52 kW and 105 Nm torque, accelerating from 0-40 kmph in just 1.2 seconds. It also features a 10-inch TFT touchscreen, USD forks, and two-channel switchable ABS. Ola Electric offers an industry-first 8-year battery warranty for its entire motorcycle portfolio. With the upcoming MoveOS 5 update, the Roadster Pro will have best-in-class digital tech features, including ADAS and advanced ride modes.
