Ola Electric has launched its new range of budget-friendly electric scooters to promote EV adoption in India. The lineup includes the Ola Gig, Gig+, S1 Z, and S1 Z+, priced between ₹39,999 and ₹64,999 (introductory). Buyers can reserve their scooters for just ₹499, with deliveries beginning in April and May 2025.
The Ola Gig is designed for gig workers, offering a 112 km range and a removable battery, while the Gig+ provides a longer 157 km range and dual-battery option. For urban commuters, the S1 Z delivers a range of 146 km and a top speed of 70 km/h, with the S1 Z+ offering added durability for both personal and commercial use.
Additionally, Ola introduced the PowerPod, a portable inverter priced at ₹9,999, enabling scooter batteries to power small household appliances for up to three hours—ideal for areas with erratic power supply. Ola’s expanded lineup also includes premium scooters and motorcycles to cater to various customer needs.
