Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has emphasized the importance of global cooperation in technology despite evolving geopolitical challenges. Speaking in Hong Kong, Huang expressed optimism about international scientific collaboration, even as the U.S. considers stricter export controls under the Trump administration. He assured that Nvidia will balance regulatory compliance with its mission to innovate and serve worldwide customers.
Huang addressed the impact of export restrictions on Nvidia’s operations, particularly in adapting its products for the Chinese market. Despite these challenges, he highlighted AI’s transformative potential to solve global issues, such as designing better wind turbines and creating materials for energy storage. He also proposed deploying AI supercomputers near sustainable energy sources to reduce environmental impacts.
