Due to ongoing issues with Boeing’s Starliner spacecraft, including thruster malfunctions and leaks, NASA is considering using SpaceX’s Crew Dragon to bring the astronauts back to Earth.
The Starliner mission, which launched in June, has been plagued by setbacks, extending the astronauts’ stay on the ISS indefinitely. Williams is also experiencing Spaceflight Associated Neuro-ocular Syndrome (SANS), a condition affecting her vision due to prolonged exposure to microgravity. NASA must act quickly to ensure the safe return of its astronauts.
