Comedian Kunal Kamra has reignited his public feud with Ola Electric’s CEO, Bhavish Aggarwal, over the company’s poor customer service. Kamra took to social media to express his frustration, stating that Ola Electric hasn’t disclosed a plan to address ongoing customer complaints or provide refunds.
This isn’t the first time Kamra has criticized Ola Electric. Earlier in October, he responded to Aggarwal’s post about Ola’s gigafactory with a sarcastic reply, highlighting the company’s backlog of repairs. Aggarwal fired back, calling Kamra a “failed stand-up comic” and suggesting his criticism was a “paid post.”
Ola Electric is facing increasing pressure to improve its customer service. The Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) recently accused the company of misleading advertising and unfair trade practices. Ola Electric’s stock price has also taken a hit, falling 6% on October 8.
Despite Aggarwal’s assurances that Ola Electric is expanding its service network, the company has yet to announce a formal plan to address customer concerns. Kamra’s public criticism has brought attention to the issue, and customers await a clear resolution from Ola Electric.
