Honda is set to launch its highly anticipated electric Activa scooter today in India. The Activa Electric comes with a swappable battery system, allowing users to easily replace batteries at home, office, or at battery swapping stations. This feature adds convenience and eliminates the need for charging points in parking spaces.
The scooter will offer two riding modes: Standard for longer range and efficiency, and Sport for quicker acceleration and higher speed. The top variant will also feature a TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity for navigation and music, while the lower variant will have a basic LCD display.
With a range of 104 km per charge, the Activa Electric aims to compete with popular electric scooters like the Ather Rizta, TVS iQube, and Ola S1 Series. Its swappable battery system and Honda’s reputation give it a competitive edge in the growing electric scooter market.
