Google is set to host its global launch event on August 14, where it will unveil its latest flagship devices. The event is expected to see the launch of the Pixel 9 series, which may include the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and a new fourth model, the Pixel 9 Pro XL. The Pixel 9 series is rumored to feature a slightly flatter back and a more rounded camera visor.
The Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro are expected to come with upgraded cameras, including a 50MP primary sensor and a 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The Pixel 9 Pro XL may feature a display between 6.5-inch and 6.9-inch. All three smartphones are likely to be powered by the Tensor G4 chipset and offer up to 16GB RAM. Additionally, Google is expected to launch its first foldable smartphone, the Pixel Fold, which may feature a squarish camera module and Gemini features.
The event may also see the launch of the Google Pixel Watch 3, which is expected to come in two size options and offer thinner bezels and up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness. The watch is likely to offer 36 hours of battery life.
