The integration will enhance Nest cameras with advanced AI capabilities, enabling them to understand visual and auditory information with greater depth. This will allow for features like detailed activity descriptions and natural language search, making camera clips in the Google Home app more useful.
Gemini AI will also simplify smart home automations, allowing users to create custom actions using plain language. The new “Help me create” feature in the Google Home app will enable users to describe desired actions, and Gemini will handle the setup. Additionally, Nest speakers and displays will receive an upgraded Google Assistant, powered by Gemini’s generative capabilities, enabling more conversational and natural interactions.
