Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone is set to become a playable character in the popular battle royale game, Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI). This is part of a one-year exclusive collaboration with Krafton, the game’s developer.
As part of this tie-up, BGMI will offer two distinct character skins representing Padukone’s iconic style and persona. This move marks Krafton’s latest attempt to further localize BGMI in India and attract more players.
Padukone expressed her excitement to connect with the gaming community and see how her fans react to the in-game avatar and exclusive items. Krafton India CEO Sean Hyunil Sohn said this collaboration aims to deliver fresh experiences for BGMI fans.
