At BT MindRush 2025, top leaders from Tata Power, KPIT Technologies, Persistent Systems, and Logitech shared how they turned big challenges into wins. The panel, called “The Disruptor’s Mindset,” showed how great leaders don’t fear change—they use it to grow. While Business Today also launched its Best CEOs edition, these visionaries explained how they faced disruption head-on and came out stronger.

Praveer Sinha of Tata Power told how his company ditched coal for solar and wind energy around 2018-19. People thought it was a bad move to leave a profitable business, but Sinha saw climate change coming. The risk paid off—profits jumped 77% yearly over a decade, and stock prices rose 60% annually in the last five years. “We didn’t just survive; we thrived,” he said. Meanwhile, Kishor Patil of KPIT Technologies shifted his IT firm to focus only on car software. This bold choice made KPIT a key player in the fast-changing auto world.

Sandeep Kalra of Persistent Systems tackled AI fears, saying it won’t kill jobs but create more if people learn to use it. He’s pushing his team to upskill and build smarter tech solutions. Anand Lakshmanan of Logitech added how COVID made their products vital for remote work. He said hybrid work is the future, and their goal is to make tech easy and helpful for everyone. Together, these leaders showed that embracing disruption—whether it’s clean energy, AI, or new work styles—leads to big opportunities.
