watchOS 11 update brings additional health-tracking capabilities
Apple has updated its Apple Watch Ultra 2 with a new color option and a sleep apnea detection feature. The watch now comes in a sleek “satin black” color, in addition to its original color. The sleep apnea detection feature uses the watch’s accelerometer and motion data to identify patterns consistent with sleep apnea during sleep.
The latest watchOS 11 update brings several health-focused features, including training load and vitals app. The training load feature provides insights into your exertion levels relative to your typical workout intensity. The vitals app monitors key health metrics, such as respiratory rate and sleep duration, and alerts you to any unusual patterns.
The Apple Watch Ultra 2 retains its rugged design with a large display and a customizable Action Button. The watch is targeted at active users who prioritize a larger display, extended battery life, and durability.
