Manish Tiwary, the country head of Amazon India, has resigned after spending eight-and-a-half years at the e-commerce giant. He will be joining a new company and will continue at Amazon until October to ensure a smooth transition.
Leadership Change
Tiwary led Amazon’s consumer business in India, focusing on transforming the way India buys and sells online. He joined Amazon India in 2016 after spending years at retailer Unilever. Amit Agarwal, SVP India and Emerging Markets, will remain closely involved with the Amazon.in team, guiding its strong bench of leaders.
